Crew arrives with the key
To disconnect a supply, an authorised officer visits the property with the handheld electronic key — the only powered part of the system.
Step 3
Place the key on the valve
The key seats over the contact area on top of the valve, powers the internal actuator, verifies authorisation, and drives the valve closed. Removing the supply takes seconds.
Step 4
Reconnect the same way
When the account is settled, a crew returns, places the key on the valve again and re-opens it. Every lock and unlock is logged on the key.

AquaLock Questions
01.How is the valve powered if it has no battery?
The valve is completely passive when no one is there. When a crew places the electronic key on the contact area on top of the valve, the key supplies power to the valve's actuator for that operation only. As soon as the key is removed, the valve is unpowered again.
02.How do you disconnect a supply?
An authorised officer visits the property, places the key on the valve, and the valve drives closed. There is no need to dig, cut the pipe, or fit a physical plug.
03.How is it reconnected?
The same way. Once the account is cleared, a crew returns with a key, places it on the valve and re-opens the supply. Both actions are recorded.
04.Can the occupant just turn it back on?
No. The actuator only moves when a valid, authorised key is present. Without a key the valve stays in whatever state it was left in.
05.Is AquaLock only for the Water Board?
Water utilities are the main customer, but AquaLock is available to landlords, property managers, estates and facilities teams — anyone who needs controlled, repeatable disconnect and reconnect of a water line.
